If you are a friend who often browses the N website, you must have used this module a long time ago, because its initial version was released in March last year. The author is the mod master iAbokai.
The last update to version 2.0 was in July 2022. I don’t know if it has been reprinted on the site before (I personally just downloaded it for a trial) because there were too many posts. I only turned two pages and stopped reading.
The porting is for those friends who are always unable to log in to the N network due to network reasons. They have not been authorized by the author. If there is any offense, delete the post immediately and apologize in advance!
Each author spends a lot of time and energy to make the mod. It is shared for everyone to use for free. I reprint it just so that more people can play it. If you have not used it and read this post, you are very interested and want to try this MOD and can browse the N network normally. Please go to the original address of the repost to support the author!

◆This mod extension enhances John's moveset, making him less dependent on Arthur's animations.
◆The purpose of the mod is to change or eliminate as many of the "Arthur" animations as possible from John's moveset.
◆Most of the changes made to John's movements use "upper body animation", which means they are not completely different, completely unique animations. It's just a simple "add-on" that makes existing animations look slightly different.
◆Before we get started, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for at least being interested in this mod, I worked really hard to make sure John felt as different as possible from Arthur while also fixing a few things along the way. I hope this is something you'll enjoy!
●Every terrain-based animation (snow, swamp, river, ice, etc.) has been changed to fit John's current action set.
- You can see a small example of it in the GIF above.
- This change took me a damn long time to complete. The number of animations for each different terrain is ridiculous!
●Every "situational" animation (combat, stealth, drunk, tired, etc.) has been changed to fit John's current moveset.
- This time also took away my whole life...
●John’s other miscellaneous animations have also been modified (such as starting to sprint, drifting, turning, going up and down slopes, etc.).
●John's sprint animation has been improved by using better and faster animations as a base.
●John's idle animation has been modified (he doesn't look like a crippled old man anymore...sort of).
●John moves like himself in Beecher's Hope.
●John sprints as himself in first person.
●John's crouch animation has been changed (just a little).
●John's tired running/jogging animation has been modified to make the movement look more natural.
●John now has his own Easy Life animation in Beecher's Hope, where before, it would use Arthur's.
●The staircase animation has been modified to suit John's movement.
●The animation for walking through the bush has been changed to suit John's movement.
-It's more consistent now. Previously, there was even a chance that these animations would not trigger at all.
●John now reacts when crouching through bushes.
- Unfortunately, due to the current "file size" limit, this change only affects John.
●John's animation for standing up from crouch has been changed to make it a better transition into his idle animation.
●John now has proper idle changes.
●John's cautious walking animation has been restored.
- Caution mode may be triggered when entering a serial killer's clue. Not sure where else this emotion could be triggered though, if you find any other situations where John/Arthur caution occurs please let me know.
●Most of these changes will a …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
