RDR2 Enhanced Edition
🎮Mod Overview
This is a major overhaul mod for Red Dead Offline that I've been quietly developing since the first version of Red Dead Offline (about 4 months ago). Originally this was just my personal version of rdoff, but eventually I decided to polish it up and release it publicly! Contains numerous stat tweaks and changes that make the game more difficult (some might say more cumbersome) than the original.
💡 **Compatibility Note**: This mod is compatible with all script mods (including my other mods, PDO, Bounty Expansion, Dialogue Overhaul, etc.).
---
🔫 Weapon system improvements
**MASSIVELY REDUCED AMMO LIMITS**: The capacity of each ammo type has been drastically reduced, making every bullet count!
- 🚫 Cancel automatic pickup of ammunition and need to manually search for corpses
- 📦 Reduced number of ammo boxes in shops and open world
- 💰 The price of high-velocity ammunition is doubled (because it is the strongest type)
- ⏱️ Reloading speed reduced to 70-80% of original version
- 🎯 Weapon proficiency has a greater impact, changing reloading speed and accuracy by 20-25%
- 🔧 The wear rate of weapons has increased significantly, and the price of gun oil has increased
---
🧪 Remade the production system
**Normal and diluted potions can now be crafted**: These versions consume fewer resources, but are correspondingly less effective.
- 💊 The production cost of powerful and special potions has been greatly increased
- 🧴 Diluted potions can be made with very few ingredients (sometimes even half the ingredients)
- 🛒 It’s now more cost-effective to buy potions in the store
---
🍖Food System Balance
**All cookable item properties have been changed**: Food now mainly restores life cores, with little impact on stamina and death eyes.
- 🛌 Sleeping, smoking, bathing and drinking coffee become more valuable
- 🌿 **Seasoning system reworked**: Greatly increase specific core recovery based on different herbs
- 🚬 Cigarettes now restore 40% of Death Eyes (cigars still have 60%), and the capacity is changed to 10 pieces
- 🚫 Chewing tobacco and cocaine gum are no longer lootable and their prices have been increased
---
🔄Basic requirement integration
**(Updated in version 1.1)** The kettle in the Basic Requirements mod is no longer a core, but works as an actual supply! CATALOG_MODE needs to be set to 1 in the ini file of the basic requirements.
---
🏠 Integration of available properties for purchase
This is an addition to my other mod "Purchasable Properties", now all three properties are included in the newspaper directory. You can find and buy the title deed in the "properties" category of the nearest grocery store (close to a specific property).
---
⚙️ Difficulty settings
Added some difficulty setting options that, while not groundbreaking, can spice up the gaming experience:
- 📉 Core and horse core are reduced at acceleration rate (can be adjusted or turned off)
- 💀 Lose your weapon and most of your money when you die
- 🎯 Consume the Eye of Death when aiming (updated to version 1.1)
- 🏃 Extra stamina consumption when sprinting
---
🛠️ Other improvements
- 🗺️ All shop wardrobes are now marked
- 💰 Adjustable amount of money Beecher wants the manor to receive for completing chores
- 📝 Rewritten about 40 item descriptions
---
🐛 Bug Report
If you spot any obviously invalid properties or typos in the description, be sure to let me know!
---
📥 Installation requirements
**Requires Red Dead Offline, LML and Version.dll**
- Put the RDR2EE folder into lml
- Overwrite the Red Dead Offline folder with the files in the rar file
- Put all asi and ini files into the home directory (not lml)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
