Introduction
A Chinese version of the game (Simplified Chinese) based on the XUnity.AutoTranslator plug-in.
Welcome!
Instructions for use
- After subscribing, wait for the download to complete, and then you can find the Chinese patch compressed package in the path [steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1118200\2635194587] or [steamlibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1118200\2635194587].
- Select the compressed package that matches your game version.
- Then unzip it to the game root directory [steam\steamapps\common\People Playground] to use.
Things to note
- Pay attention to the game version and don’t choose the wrong compressed package.
- Please put the four files in the compressed package directly into the source file, otherwise it will not take effect.
- This patch will be updated simultaneously with the game version. Please find the patch in the folder again when updating. Thanks!
- According to everyone’s feedback, many text changes in some games will cause the Chinese version to take effect after loading for a period of time. This problem is actually a problem with the mechanism of the Chinese patch. I really don’t have the ability to cure it at the moment. You can pause for a period of time after entering the map to fix the text and facilitate Chinese retrieval. Fixed text will facilitate Chinese retrieval and make the Chinese version effective;)
Existing issues
- The Chinese version of the compatible version will cause the mod name to disappear.
- This patch has some un-Chinese parts, but it does not affect the game experience (maybe ;) )

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
