TerrainCustomiserCN
The Chinese interface version of TerrainCustomiser only has a Chinese UI, retaining the original map and online compatibility.
About this mod Machine translation
TerrainCustomiserCN 0.1.2
TerrainCustomiserCN is the Chinese interface version of TerrainCustomiser.
The goal of this MOD is to only replace the UI display text and synchronize necessary repairs corresponding to the original version; it does not change the original map data, online synchronization keys and archive structure.
Thanks to snozz for making and maintaining the original TerrainCustomiser. TerrainCustomiserCN is just a Chinese version based on the original functions.
Important note
- Please do not enable it at the same time as the original TerrainCustomiser.
- The map archive uses PEAK's persistent data directory %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\LandCrab\PEAK\TerrainCustomiser\Map Saves to facilitate sharing the same map with the original TerrainCustomiser 0.3.2.
- Online synchronization continues to use the network manager ID, room attributes and player attributes of the original TerrainCustomiser, and try to ensure that TerrainCustomiserCN and the original TerrainCustomiser can be cross-played.
- Chinese culture only applies to interface display text; map internal parameters, resource names, enumeration values and serialized data will not be renamed to Chinese culture.
- This package comes with TerrainCustomiserCNCollector.dll, which is used to collect missing UI text.
- Support reading *.json.old files when selecting a map at the airport "Start". These files are usually backups left by r2modman after disabling the original TerrainCustomiser.
- *.json.old will be marked as [Read-only backup] in the playlist. TerrainCustomiserCN will only read it and will not copy, rename, delete or restore it.
- Editor loading and saving still only handles normal .json map files, and .json.old cannot be edited directly.
Version correspondence
TerrainCustomiserCN 0.1.0 corresponds to the original TerrainCustomiser 0.3.0.
TerrainCustomiserCN 0.1.1 corresponds to the original TerrainCustomiser 0.3.1.
TerrainCustomiserCN 0.1.2 corresponds to the original TerrainCustomiser 0.3.2.
In the actual test between two people, one person used TerrainCustomiserCN and the other used the original TerrainCustomiser, so they could cross-play and share map data. Every time TerrainCustomiserCN is updated in the future, the corresponding original TerrainCustomiser version will be explained here.
Note: Do not enable TerrainCustomiserCN and the original TerrainCustomiser at the same time in the same client.
Pre-mod
Please install the following dependencies first:
- BepInExPack PEAK
- PhotonCustomPropsUtils
- UBImGui
Installation method
- Make sure the above pre-mod is installed.
- Put the contents of this package into BepInEx/plugins, or install it through r2modman.
- Confirm that the original TerrainCustomiser is not enabled at the same time.
- After launching the game, open TerrainCustomiserCN in the airport kiosk menu.
Basic usage
Game mode
- Select a map archive.
- Set options such as seeds and LightMap baking.
- After clicking Play, the map data will be synchronized to the players in the room and start loading.
Archive directory
Starting from 0.1.2, TerrainCustomiserCN follows the original TerrainCustomiser 0.3.2, and the map saving and loading directories are changed to:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\LandCrab\PEAK\TerrainCustomiser\Map Saves
Maps with old versions placed in the plug-in directory will not be automatically migrated. If you need to continue using the old map, please back it up first and then manually copy it to the new directory above.
edit mode
- It is recommended to use the editing mode offline.
- Edit map content in the hierarchy, resources, and inspector windows.
- Right-click to open the context menu to create, rename, delete, etc.
- The resource window supports filtering by English original name or Chinese display name.
- The saved map will try to remain compatible with the original TerrainCustomiser.
Map backup and sharing
You can save the completed map to the PEAK map warehouse:

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
