Ping Point Use Item
PEAK · Version 2.6.14
Simplified Chinese
Module introduction
Ping Point Use Item allows you to use items in PEAK at a specified location through the game's native Ping.
- Hold Z to select an item from the wheel.
- Use the game's native Ping button to spawn items or throw a Frisbee after a successful ping.
- Each successful ping also generates a native music trail.
- When there are eligible missing players nearby, Ping may trigger the Cloud Mushroom platform rescue first.
- Seven non-Frisbee items can be used in Cooking or Collision mode respectively.
- The usage mode defaults to Unlimited and can also be switched to Limited.
Install
- Install BepInExPack_PEAK first, the required version is BepInEx-BepInExPack_PEAK-5.4.75301.
- Install using the Mod Manager, or put PingPointUseItem.dll into:
BepInEx/plugins/PingPointUseItem/
- If you are upgrading from an old version, please delete the old InstantCookExplosion.dll and its supporting PDB/deps files first. Do not load the new and old plug-ins at the same time.
- After starting the game, the configuration file will be generated at:
BepInEx/config/rua.PingPointUseItem.cfg
SymbioticGhost and SenseOfDirection are optional integrations and are not required dependencies.
operate
- Hold Z, point to an item in the wheel, then release Z.
- Aim at the target surface and use the game’s original Ping button.
- Only successful native pings will trigger item spawns, disc throws, or rescues.
- The remaining times will be displayed in the center of the roulette icon; infinite mode displays ∞ or INF.
The add-on uses the game's native ping bindings, cooldowns, and menu limits and does not change movement or jumping operations.
eight items
| Item | Default Mode | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Cure-All | Cooking | Use original cooking effects |
| Dynamite | Cooking | Use original cooking effects |
| AntiZooka | Cooking | Use original cooking effects |
| Frisbee | Throw | Throws at nearby targets, always unlimited |
| PandorasBox | Cooking | Use original cooking effects |
| WarpFungus | Collision | Rely on native collision or throwing behavior |
| Pedal Mushroom | Collision | Rely on native collision or throwing behavior |
| Elixir Mushroom | Collision | Rely on native collision or throwing behavior |
Cooking and Collision are just two triggers. Switching modes does not add a new effect to an item that does not already have that effect.
Some items require suitable targets, terrain, or native components; if the conditions are not met, this use may not be triggered. Mushrooms can be fired in Collision mode, but are not guaranteed to produce a healing effect. Quqiangu's Collision mode requires pinging the terrain.
Frisbee
- The Frisbee is always infinite and cannot be recycled by holding it.
- Frisbee will look for targets near the point of a successful ping.
- Appropriate non-player targets take precedence over player targets.
- You can try to work on ground items, scene props, creatures and non-player characters.
- Frisbees may not spawn if there is not enough space near the target, the path is blocked, or the target is not suitable for throwing.
- Throwing of arrow traps respects the direction and space constraints of the arrow trap itself.
Frisbee uses the game's native physics and network behavior, so different clients may see slightly different trajectory or collision results.
music wake
When enabled, each successful ping may generate a native musical trail between the camera and the ping point.
- The default spacing is 8 meters.
- A single trail can generate up to 32 music points.
- Musical trails will not prevent item spawning or Cloud Mushroom platform rescues.
- While a music trail is playing, another batch of trails will not start immediately.
Cloud Mushroom Platform Rescue
Cloud Mushroom platform rescue is enabled by default and takes precedence over Roulette item checks.
- Will look for real qualified players near the ping point, includ …
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
