KraberOpticSeat
Seats the Kraber's three optics properly onto the picatinny rail (threat scope, variable zoom, stock optic).
About this mod Machine translation
Kraber Optic Seat — Kraber sight base correction
EN — Repositions the Kraber's optics so their mounts actually sit on the picatinny rail instead of floating above it.
Chinese — Corrected the mounting position of Kraber’s three scopes so that the mount actually sits on the Picatinny rail instead of hanging in the air.
What it changes / modify content
Each optic's geometry is rigidly weighted to its own bone, so the patch simply shifts those vertices along the weapon's up axis (model units).
| Optic | Sight | Adjustment / Displacement |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Threat Scope | Threat Scope | −0.23 |
| Variable Zoom | Variable Zoom | −0.035 |
| Stock optic | Original sight | +0.01 |
Before / After / Before and after modification
Left = original (mount floating above the rail), Right = patched.
Left = original version (the mirror base is suspended above the guide rail), right = after correction.

Install / install
EN — Unzip into your Titanfall2 folder so that the mods folder merges with Titanfall2\R2Northstar\mods. Then enable KraberOpticSeat in the Northstar mods menu (it is enabled by default when listed in enabledmods.json).
Chinese — Unzip to the Titanfall2 directory and merge the mods folder with Titanfall2\R2Northstar\mods. Then enable KraberOpticSeat in Polaris' mod menu.

Compatibility / compatibility
- Client-side only. Other players will not see it. It changes no damage, spread, ballistics or hit registration.
Pure client, other players cannot see it. Does not affect damage, spread, trajectory and hit determination.
- This mod replaces the entire ptpov_at_rifle.mdl. Any other mod that also replaces this file will conflict with it (whichever loads later wins). If you use a Kraber model/skin mod that ships its own.mdl, do not enable both.
This mod replaces the entire ptpov_at_rifle.mdl, conflicting with any mod that also replaces this file (last loader takes effect). If your Kraber skin mod comes with a .mdl, do not enable it at the same time.
- Mods that only change weapon config values (e.g. weapon-position mods that edit viewmodel_offset_ads) do not conflict at file level, but their values were tuned for the original geometry, so the aiming composition will stack. Disable them if the view looks off.
Modules that only change weapon configuration values (such as the weapon position module that adjusts viewmodel_offset_ads) will not conflict with files, but those values are adjusted for the original geometry, and the composition when aiming will be superimposed when used at the same time.
Notes/notes
- The stock optic (v_scope_dcom) and the variable zoom (v_scope_talon) received very small corrections; the threat scope received the largest one.
- The Kraber's unused stabilizer optic is intentionally left untouched.
- The kill counter (Pro Screen) is not covered by this release — its display mesh is a separate model.
The kill counter (Pro Screen) is not included in this version - its display grid is a separate model.
- Fixing attachment seating requires moving the optic's own geometry, not just a config offset: the mount's underside is not flat, so no single viewmodel offset can make it sit flush.
Correcting the fit requires changing the geometry of the sight itself, which cannot be achieved by configuration offset alone - the bottom surface of the scope base itself is uneven.

Model geometry is Respawn's original asset; this patch only translates part of its vertices.
The model geometry is the original Respawn material, and this patch only translates some of its vertices.
Install & use Install: Northstar client mod
- Install the Northstar client first (the open-source community client for Titanfall 2; its release page provides an installer). It loads the mods.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and put its contents into the Northstar/mods/ folder inside your Titanfall2 directory.
- Start the game through NorthstarLauncher.exe — the console lists the mods it loaded.
Northstar is for private servers and custom content; do not use it to connect to official servers.
