Battle map - Lookout Battle map - Lookout
This is the forest map I made for the battle. Spawn locations are timed so that both teams can reach the map's focal point at the same time. The slopes are gentle enough to allow for fast-paced cavalry operations around the area, while the buildings and trees provide enough cover for the infantry without having to serve as food for the cavalry. The fence was just long enough to prevent shooting. In a cRPG, you can easily climb up ladders.
The focal point is the small observation column, the twin towers overlooking the valley.
There is a doorway on either side of the fence, giving both teams equal access to the tower. The tower is connected to a rope bridge.
The line of fire of the archers at the top of the tower was at best limited to the inner area of the enclosure, making this area more vulnerable to archer attack, while the outside was more dangerous due to cavalry.
Team side:
Both sides of the team:
There are some ruins in the valley below.
I'd love to hear feedback on this, even if you hate it, just tell me why. I've heard that some people are having cpu issues with the forest map, which I didn't realize when I was making it. I myself usually have fps issues in big castle/city maps, not forests.
Here's a forest map i made for battle. Spawn locations are timed so that both teams can get to the focal point of the map at the same time. The line of fire for archers at the top of the towers is mostl limited to the inside area of the fence, that keeps the area more vulnerable to archers, while the outside is more dangerous because of cavalry.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
