describe:
MECH MOD 1.31 Rev 2
The main goal of this mod is to establish a framework for character improvement. If you enjoy investing in your people and watching them grow and improve over time, you've come to the right place.
A secondary goal is to make the game slightly less predictable with a well-rounded playing field.
-
Drivers, Mechanics and Designers:
- Improvement rates and potential for all statistics have been increased. You should see improvement rates and maximum potential, but it shouldn't be too crazy. After about 20 years of gaming, you'll see a lot more of our characters, but there's still a lot of dice rolling.
- All performance statistics for all drivers have been re-randomized and then slightly reduced.
- All performance statistics for all mechanics have been re-randomized and then dropped slightly.
- All performance statistics for all designers have been re-randomized and then dropped slightly.
- All driver statistics for morale and market have been randomized.
- The initial names of the driver and its assigned team have been retained.
- Initial team drivers have had their race history deleted.
- All starting team leaders, mechanics and engineers' salaries have been normalized, resulting in considerable decreases across the board.
- The contracts of all initial team members, mechanics and engineers will expire after the first season
- Removed all starting driver traits. Then randomly assign 2 features.
- Pay driver feature has been removed. It's ridiculously unbalanced and I can't figure out how to change it.
- All mechanical bonuses have been removed. They were then randomly assigned 2 new bonuses.
- All designer "Known Components" features have been removed. They are then weighted, randomized, and reassigned. This results in an increase in the "known components" of the designer's appearance, but is still a good mix.
-Peak Ages have been randomized but generally increase
-Peak duration is randomized, but usually increases
- Hundreds of new drivers and hundreds of new drivers added
- Added many new mechanics
- Hundreds of new designers added
-
Headquarters and buildings:
- All HQ dimensions and venue spaces have been standardized
- All construction costs have been repriced based on importance, resulting in a general increase.
- All building and upgrade times have been normalized based on cost, resulting in an overall decrease
- All building maintenance has been standardized based on cost, resulting in a general increase
- Costs and revenues of road car factories and theme parks have dropped significantly.
- Tourist centers now bring in more revenue, but initially cost more to build.
- Starting design center and factory initial starting levels have been changed to level 3 for WMC and level 2 for all other tournaments
-WMC and GT Championship teams start from Logistics Center 1.
- All other building initial levels have been randomized, then re-randomized, and then randomly assigned based on their appropriate champion levels. I hope this leads to some fun new beginnings for everyone.
-
team:
-Starting Cash has been normalized in all tournaments. Higher championships start with more.
- Match payout offsets for all tournaments have been standardized, resulting in a slight increase.
-The attack power of all AI teams has been almost increased to everyone's maximum.
-
Automobile design:
-Car Chassis Stats have been mostly normalized.
- Starting default components for all tournaments have been normalized.
-Part suppliers have all been normalized. When you get behind the wheel again before the season, you'll see what this is.
I find that Cars everyone will re-appreciate the rather weak gameplay mechanics. It rewards those who have won and punishes those without money who need improvement the most.
I'm basically trying to minimize the impact it has on the game.

No sponsors or logos???
No. Sponsored mods I've found all seem to significantly increase money payouts, which kind of goes again …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
