About this mod Machine translation
describe:
This mode is a considerable rebalancing of how ERS, APSC and WMC work, and will make the single-seater series more difficult as you have a much less chance of outperforming than is currently the case.
Only the medium-long preference has been rebalanced, so if you only want to play short, this mode isn't for you and you'll see no difference. However, it is highly recommended that you strive for the best experience.
The car is important, the driver is less so.
This is a file I've been working on for a long time trying to find a way to mix the old key parts of Flame Red, and the vanilla system's overall car stats. This means that a car that is good in several aspects can be placed higher on some tracks and do worse on others, not unlike the real world. But by having overall performance is still important, you can't win a championship just by being the best and the absolute worst in the most common key parts.
change:
- Medium and long preferred race lengths increased.
- Reduce car top speed to more realistic levels (340 mph to 230 mph)
-Increased time cost for each level. APS is 7 seconds slower than wmc, and ers is 5 seconds slower than wmc.
-The time cost of each performance point of the entire vehicle is greatly increased, and then the scalar is adjusted to make the development of rear wings, front wings and suspension have some practical significance.
-Increase the size of the intersection, make it dry to medium and wet to medium
-Reduced penalty for tire cliff time in all compounds
- Reduced incorrect weather penalty from 20 to 15 for all dry air tires (mainly to assist AI)
-Increase the charging time of ERS
-Shorten the time to push 2 passes
-Increase the power of pushing 2 channels
-Reduced fuel economy of hybrid vehicles
- Increased discharge rate in mixed mode
-Reduce meeting bonus time
-Increased partial failure time cost - if a part reaches 0% you will lose more time)
- Increased critical moonlighting cost per section - maximum penalty is 4.3s if you have 24th best section
- Reduced time associated with driver tables (0.0 table was a 0.75 second penalty, now 0.3 seconds)
-Increased cost for driver time, with or without driver aids
-Reduce the time cost between attack mode and tire backup mode
-Reduce attack and push tire wear rate
-Reduced time cost between super overtaking and low engine mode
-Reduce overtaking fuel burn rate
-Reduce car installation time and cost
-Increased installation and adjustment time costs
-Reduce the cost of repair and replacement time
-Shortened tire life on the softest surface of the race weekend
-Improve tire life of all other compounds
-Increase the minimum and maximum time to reach peak age for pit workers
-Reduce the stamina loss of pit crew members in each race
- Reduction in new staff costs (from £200,000 to £45,000)
- Increase the number of weather bars with long-term discounts (from 20 to 40)
This mode does up the difficulty, especially now that it takes some of the cheesy strategy away from the player, most notably the ability to spam the engine upgrades and spam the softest spots every tournament weekend.
I also have a GT Tolerance and Tolerance+MoD to keep your GT experience going for a long time!
This should also work with Chris and Falco firing as I've also tested - though if you do use the two together and you have issues, you can't submit a bug report to myself or Chris. I don't play with fire, so I won't go further than checking basic compatibility.
Note: If you wish to use this with my GT Endurance+mod, then you will need the merged version.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
