Correction: 'DD Suit Female' setting is displayed as 'Table'
Soldier body plugin supports:
Allows plugin mode to add new soldier types for the mother base 'DD suit' option and enemy ready custom soldier type options.
Example: GZ US Soldier (obtained from optional files on IH Files page)
The new features of r231 have been
Removed setting: staff 'DD Suit' - 'Fatigues - All' setting to alleviate additional fv2 restrictions for future plugins. Will not be returned if full FoxKit gets full fv2 support.
Settings added: Ocelot and Quiet added to Appearance > Player Types - Warning: Ocelot and Quiet player types can have side effects when used due to attempts to restrict them to FOBs. The pause menu will be disabled and the game may experience infinite load if you complete a mission while using it. Use BobDoleOwndU's .com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/518 to fix sound issues using these player types.
New additions to r230
Fix: IHExtToMgsv.ProcessCommands calls WriteToExtTxt every frame, it looks like this bug has existed since wpf IHExts was created.
Fix: IHExtToMgsv.ProcessCommands does not convert mgsvToExtComplete arg to a number. Although WriteToExtTxt concat seems to explain it well?
Fix: IHExtToMgsv.ProcessCommands no longer polls ih_tomgsvcmds.txt unless the menu is open.
This should hopefully reduce cases of lag on systems sensitive to how IH handles I/O - thanks to the reporting and documentation used for testing.
Fix: Moved various list-based Ivars to start indexing from 0, so IHExt comboboxes are not one by one.
IvarProc: Vector3Ivar and other support functions to manage vector4 as ivar.
ih_save: IvarProc.BuildSaveText will now only be written if changed. Also should help with i/o sensitive systems.
InfObjects: InfPositions are deprecated, but for game object names, the previous InfLookup.GetObjectList command now uses it.
Object menu
The corresponding location menu is used to add, save/load the game object name list. This list is used for other commands/functions like warp, PlayCam target.
PlayCam: Alternative Camera to Free Cam - Thanks to choc for prompting me to watch it.
(via Camera Menu > PlayCam Menu)

Fixed: Adding positions to the positions list in free cam without adding the free cam position.
Fix: Menus can be activated during loading screens.
Fix: InfMenuCommands.ToggleFreeCam > InfCamera.ToggleFreeCam for SOC quickmenu.
Fixed: Warp mode not working and also breaking IH menu - thanks to everyone for reporting.
New features of r228
Fixed: IH button/menu responsiveness when using HighSpeedCam/TimeScaleMode - InfButtons/InfMenu using os.clock instead of Time.GetRawElap …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
