KrrKs change pack
Several small mods that don't require fully fledged pages of their own or are just slight variations of existing mods.
This page is for all those small mods that were not originally released publicly and do not warrant a complete page of their own. All these mods are optional and independent of each other.
The files in the download section are:
Gameplay Changes mod:
Cryo Debuff now also increases cryo damage, offsetting this, and the debuff against armor is reduced from 50% to 30%
Cryo Debuff now also adds a 5% damage bonus against health.
Soldier Profile Rampage: Initial window increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds. Up to 20 stacks can be added, each providing a damage bonus of 1/(2 + SumOfStacks *) instead of a single 50% bonus (the bonus is additive).
Expert Notes: The secondary creature explosion damage radius is now half the original explosion radius. Previously it was 2m + universal radius bonus instead of 2.5 + all applicable bonuses.
*SumOfStacks is updated with each application so the damage bonus increases from 33% to 90.1%.
Correction appendix:
Fixed Cora's Offensive 5 Soldier anti-armor bonus always being applied even if no skill was taken
Fixed Drak's Fury anti-armor bonus not applying when he wasn't taking an offensive veteran skill
Fixed Cryo and Incediary ammo not receiving the proper bonuses provided by their enhanced weapon enhancements.
Fixed incorrect display of SavingBarrier health threshold for Ryder and MP characters. Also fixed the save barrier, but the actual set value was not taken into account and the default value was taken.
I hope this ends up being part of Nightwolf's amazing MEA Fixpack. Until then, it can be found here.
Please note when trying to change the SavingBarrier threshold:

Squad changes:
This one was created at Christmas 2018 and I didn't take notes so I just know it's supposed to make the Squaddies' weapons do more damage and prevent puny humans from being healthier than thousands of years old Krogan.
Greatly increased gun damage to teammates.
Drack now has 1.5x the stock health, while most other team members feel the health bonus has been reduced.
To combat reduced health, granting damage reduction, duration, or shields in the case of certain skill evolutions can be increased by this mod.
Note: If you use this fix appendix at the same time, please let SquadChanges override the fix module. (needs to be lower in the mod list)
NonExclusive Vintage Heat Sink:
Made upon request. This should alleviate the implication that the Vintage Heat Sink was incorrectly designated as a special enhancement rather than a behavioral increase.
When crafting the weapon, select any other special enhancements before VHS.
Faster detonation cooldown:
Almost similar to zeugeney's Combo Cooldown Removal. But this version reduces the cooldown from 4 seconds to 2 seconds instead of 1 second.
Melee activation guarantee:
This mod sets the combined startup chance/power of Angaran Electric Firaan and Kett Vakarsh to 100. Their original values are 35 and 75 respectively, which means it takes at least 3/2 hits in a short time (2/3 seconds) to cause an elemental explosion on the target.
The new value ensures every click starts.
Nova Detonator:
Again, almost identical to Ooogen/zeugeney's Charge Prime Nova Detonate. Although this version only makes Nova a detonator and doesn't change the cost.
At least Gameplay Changes, FixAddendum and Squad Changes include project files. I'm not sure if other seniors do the same.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
