🪄 Mage Arena Traditional Chinese Voice Module
⚠️ WARNING: This mod is still in beta and may contain bugs or instability.
If you encounter any problems, please report them so they can be corrected.
⚠️ NOTE:
- Only Chinese passwords are supported, and the original English password has been removed.
- Cannot be used with the BlackMagic API series of modules, a universal version is still under development.
✨ Features
- 🗣 Complete Traditional Chinese voice casting: You can cast spells by shouting the moves directly in Chinese.
- 🔄 Automatic Traditional and Simplified conversion: You can choose to convert Traditional Chinese words into Simplified Chinese when reading settings to improve the Vosk model recognition rate (without modifying the original file).
- 🧩 Multiple synonym triggers: Multiple synonyms can be set for each spell to increase the success rate of identification.
- 🔠 Automatic word expansion: You can choose to split pure Chinese words into single words and add them to the dictionary (the hit rate is higher, and you can turn it off if you accidentally touch it).
- 🪄 Expandable external spells: Support SpellBindings to configure spell bindings of external modules.

🆕 Added additional module spells
If other spell modules are installed, you can add the corresponding Chinese password in config.cfg with the following format:
[Modules]
SpellBindings = spellid1=Keyword 1 Keyword 2|spellid2=Keyword 3 Keyword 4
`
- spellid: The unique identifying name of the external spell (must be consistent with the value returned by ISpellCommand.GetSpellName(), usually lowercase English letters).
- Keyword: The Chinese password that triggers the spell. Multiple passwords can be set and separated by spaces.
- Use | to separate multiple spells.
Example:
[Modules]
SpellBindings = blackrain=Black Rain Black Storm|summonimp=Little Devil Summon Imp
This way:
- Saying "black rain" or "black storm" triggers the blackrain spell.
- Saying "imp" or "summon imp" triggers the summonimp spell.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
