Lethal Company Simplified Chinese Chinese extension: Xiayu Wenkai font

Requires SweetFox's Simplified Chinese Chinese version of Fatal Company as a front-end, hereafter referred to as the "Chinese module"

This module adds the Xiayu Wenkai font material to the Chinese module, replacing the original arialuni. In addition, some configurations have been fine-tuned

The original font file comes from the open source font project: LXGW WenKai / Xiayu Wenkai

Module font description

This module uses the Xiayu Wenkai screen reading version (landmark-equal width), generates the TextMeshPro font material through Unity, and then packages it into a Unity Asset Bundle for use by the Chinese module. Original font file name: LXGWWenKaiMonoGBScreen.ttf

When generating materials, we have tried our best to include all available character sets. In theory, the characters supported by Xiayu Wenkai can be displayed normally. Including but not limited to:

• Simplified Chinese characters, Chinese Pinyin
• Japanese Kana
• Korean syllables
• CJK universal simplified and traditional Chinese characters (common Chinese characters for China, Japan and Korea)
• CJK common symbols (symbols commonly used in China, Japan and Korea)
• English letters, numbers, symbols

Uninstall instructions

Uninstalling this mod from the mod manager will not restore the font settings, and the following files must be manually deleted:

BepInEx\config\GameTranslator.cfg

BepInEx\config\translations\zh-CN\LXGWWenkaiMonoGBScreen.cfg

After deleting it, restart the game to restore the default font material (arialuni.cfg) of the Chinese module.

Known issues

~~When the player is far away from the rendered text (such as observing the text on the spacecraft display from outside the spacecraft), the font may appear with a translucent square background~~ (Fixed in 1.2.2+)

~~The lower the resolution and the farther the distance, the more obvious it will be, but it will hardly affect the gaming experience. To alleviate this problem, it is recommended to use a resolution-improving module. For example: kruumys FixResolution~~
