Cruiser Jump's Helper
Never lose your favorite Company Cruiser jump spot again.
Cruiser Jump's Helper lets you save named "parking spot" markers for
the Cruiser on any moon, sized exactly to the cruiser's real wheelbase, so
you can line up the same jump every time.
Features
- Multiple named presets per moon — save as many jump spots as you
want, rename or delete them anytime.
- Real-size outline markers — each marker is sized from the cruiser's
actual wheel positions, not a generic square, and shows a small arrow
for the target facing direction.
- All presets visible at once, with the selected one highlighted and
markers turning red once the cruiser is (almost) perfectly aligned.
- Steering hint — an on-screen readout of how many degrees to turn to
match the target heading.
- Snap to spot — instantly snap into perfect alignment with one key
press, or enable a gentle auto-snap magnet that pulls you in once
you're close and nearly stopped.
- Landing trajectory preview — while airborne after a jump, a line
shows roughly where the cruiser is going to land.
- Share presets with friends — copy a preset to your clipboard and
send it to a friend; they paste it in and get the exact same spot.
Controls (configurable in the BepInEx config file)
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| F6 | Update the selected preset with the cruiser's current position |
| F9 | Create a new preset |
| F10 | Rename the selected preset |
| F11 | Delete the selected preset |
| [ / ] | Cycle to the previous/next preset on this moon |
| Home | Instantly snap to the selected preset (Warn: This is instant teleport cruiser to point!!!) |
| Page Up | Copy the selected preset to the clipboard |
| Page Down | Import a preset from the clipboard |
All keybinds, tolerances, and toggles (auto-snap, trajectory preview,
ship/preset connector lines, steering hint) can be changed in the config
file after the first run, or via a mod like ConfigurationManager.
Notes
- Client-side visuals; presets are stored locally per install.
- Feedback and bug reports welcome — this is an early release.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
