About this mod Machine translation
Chinese version of the mercenary module...
The mercenary mercenary mod of the N network is indeed very easy to use, but due to the translation, many of the names and characters in it do not match up, such as "Posey" and "Viper", which are names that are not in the original version, and there are also many parts of the dialogue that are not smooth or even wrong. For example, the word "Devil Gang" actually means "Drunkard Legion", so I made a relatively more authentic Chinese version myself.
If you are worried that version 1.2 is unstable or the cost of mercenaries in version 1.2 is too high, you can also play version 1.1.1. The original author of version 1.1.1 did not translate it himself, but 1.2 at least has a machine translation... so the translation of 1.1.1 was completed entirely by me.
Just download one of the two folders. Generally speaking, I still recommend you to play version 1.2, which has more gameplay and is more balanced. After downloading, just throw the entire "mercenaries" folder into the Mods folder (if there is no Mods folder, create a new one yourself)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
