About this mod Machine translation
A more powerful open source Chinese version editor
This version of the editor is based on the official Kenshi editor and was produced by Alexliyu of the Void Invasion MOD production team. In addition to the Chinese version, it has also fixed some problems with the editor itself and added some functions. We have no intention of infringing any copyrights and respect the rights of developers. This editor is only made to make up for some inconveniences or bugs when using the official version for development. Therefore, please support the genuine Kenshi game. Of course, we also hope to support the Void Invasion MOD working group. After all, we are a group of uncles who use love to generate electricity. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions for modification, please provide feedback on the editor's homepage.
Also reiterate once again: the source code of this project has been opened. Everything is only for research on the use of blood descendants. It is not for commercial use, otherwise we will not be responsible for some consequences.
Function introduction:
Editor Fixed some bugs and issues with the original Kenshi editor
All drop-down menus and those displaying English enumeration content have been Chineseized into nearly 1,000 short sentences and phrases, and nearly 20,000 words have been manually Chineseized.
The operation interface in the left and right editors has been fully translated into Chinese.
There are some things that I personally can’t understand, and I tried the functions in the Void Invasion MOD that didn’t work. There is no Chinese version.
Some new features have been added, some features have been adjusted, and security protection features such as backups have been added.
After careful debugging and architectural changes, the project source code is now more understandable and easy to expand.
The Chinese version of some content is in fcs_chs.def. Please ensure that fcs_chs.def is in the same directory as the executable file generated after compilation.
In order to ensure that the Chinese version does not do evil (the Chinese version is wrong), basically the function-selective Chinese version uses a prompt box to display the Chinese version instead of directly Chineseizing the original text, so as to facilitate comparison.
Part of the Chinese content is based on my own understanding of the game mechanics. In addition to the sentences of the Chinese game itself, I also added some of my own understanding and remarks.
Instructions for use:
Compiled version: Directly open the project in VS2019 and compile. After compilation, there will be an exe main file in the generated directory, copy it to the game directory. In addition, there will be two files, fcs_chs.def and fcs_chs.def.auto, in the forgotten construction setReferences directory. The first one was manually translated by me. It has not been translated yet. There is too much content, and I need to verify their effects one by one. How should I put it? Too many sentences written by the author are either too vague or very difficult to pronounce. The other one is the machine translation made by Han Youhuiye of Baidu Tieba. It is generally correct but has some problems. You can choose any one (if you choose fcs_chs.def.auto, please remove the .auto extension), and then put it in the game directory.
Download the compiled version. There should be only three files in the compressed package. One is the exe execution file and the other two are definition files. The usage method is the same as above. The exe file is placed in the game directory, and any one of the other two definition files is placed in the game directory.
- If you want to use steam to upload MOD. For students who use STEAM and want to upload MOD to the workshop, you need to change the file name to the original editor file name. Only in this way can you start the editor in STEAM and then upload it to STEAM.
In addition, I plan to add a comparison function to compare the actual attack and defens …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
