About this mod Machine translation
Compound Bow - Modern Bow + 5 new arrows
A modern compound bow joins Human Officer as a standalone ranged weapon, along with five new arrow types – including a flaming arrow that can set the entire field on fire. Everything is crafted at the Gunsmith's Workbench. No panels, no shortcuts - build it, nock an arrow, release.
Real weapons, not reskinned
The bow and each arrow are brand new items with a unique identity: exclusive icons, names and descriptions in 14 game languages, with their own properties, recipes, stack sizes and drop models. The bow can be rolled, worn, and repaired like a normal bow—and it actually bends: The model fits over the stock bone, so the string pulls back into a true V-shape when you aim. Everything is done through the game's own item system, nothing fake.
✨Arsenal
Compound Bow — Damage x6.0 ·Strength 300% ·Aiming Range 400 ·Durability 800. Regarding scale: The best vanilla bow is x1.3 / 150% / 125. Cams, cables, mustache cookie holders, sights and stabilizers - real, based on real archery models
Carbon Arrow (blue or white blade) - 50 damage, 100 speed, crafting x5. Claw arrow damage at twice the speed
Broadhead Arrow — 75 damage, 80 speed, crafting x3. Three-leaf steelhead, new damage limit
Snapshot Arrow — 35 damage · 130 speed · Craft x5. Laser flat trajectory for long-range sniping
Burning Arrow — 40 damage · 95 speed · Craft x3 · Ignite target
The maximum Broadhead draw is 450 points - the original limit is 65 points. The quality will stack up just like the original.
burning arrow
Ignite on hit - target burns for 8 seconds, 30 damage per second (configurable)
Fire Spreads - All creatures within 2.5 meters of the impact point also catch fire. If an arrow is shot into a large army, the whole crowd will be lit up
Realistic burning - flames spurt out from the body, following the target animation, accompanied by dynamic light. Burning targets are stunned and slowed (configurable, down to zero)
Single Use - Incendiary Arrows burn with the target: cannot be picked up by hand or automatically
✨ What it does
Can be crafted - the bow is placed in the gunsmith's gun rack (steel, titanium, chrome, fiber, chip), the arrows are placed in the ammo tab, next to the bullets (cheap bulk recipe)
Universal Ammunition - The new arrows are regular arrows: vanilla bows can also shoot them, and compound bows fire vanilla arrows
Native operations - drawing the bow, aiming, arrow drop, headshot, stealth damage, arrow recovery (except burning arrows) are all inherited from the game's bow and arrow system
Repair and disassembly - repair the bow like a normal bow; disassemble and return some metal
The fine print, honestly
Item properties are fixed by design - this is a weapon pack, not a cheat panel. Want a different number? Bows and arrows are automatically recognized in weapon tuning and will have sliders for each attribute
Only the fire behavior can be customized here (see below) - this is visual and feel, not properties
The bow cannot be found in loot - currently it can only be obtained by crafting.
⚙️ Configuration
Rocket behavior exists in BepInEx\config\humanhost.compoundbow.cfg: burn duration and damage, ignition radius, knockback strength, real body fire toggle, fire density and size, global effect cap, and burn damage sound
--Set this to false to mute the sound of zombies being injured on each burn burn (mass burning a crowd will be noisy; direct attacks will still play the sound). Files are monitored - changes will take effect in-game immediately after saving, no need to restart.
Save and uninstall
Crafted bows and arrows are real items, so they will stay in your save file. Before removing the mod, drop, shoot, or dismantle any bows you own. Items left in the archive become "ghost slots" (have no icons and cannot be moved or deleted) - the archive continues to work, but the slot is wasted. This mod will not write other content to your save.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
