Room of Requirement Visible Optimization - Original Enhanced Herbology and Stable Repairs

✨ This mod provides a series of balance-friendly fixes to the original game, specifically addressing some of the less-than-satisfactory designs the developers had in **The Room of Requirement**. The goal is to make your magical life easier and more logical!

🌿 Herbology Adjustments

**Plant definition adjustment**

  • **Liquidweed** was changed to a small plant (because it was small and looked too silly in a large planter).
  • The yield of **White Fresh, Sapweed, Zoysia, and Sweet Mallow** has been adjusted to **3**.
  • The yield of **Shrunken Figs** has been adjusted to **5**.
*The yield of all potion ingredient plants has been balanced to ensure that all advanced planters yield **15** materials per batch. *
  • The growth time of **all plants** is unified to **10 minutes**.
*Different timers for combat plants were needlessly cumbersome, now you can process all your harvests at once! *

**Transformation slot pool expansion**

  • The placement limit for **Planting Pots** has been increased from **7** to **8**.
*(Because, come on, why did the developers set the cap to 7 planters when there are 8 types of plants? That's stupid.)*

🦉 Stable (Vivarium) adjustment

**Transformation slot pool adjustment**

  • **Beast Feeder** placement limit increased from **1** to **3**.
*What's the point of auto-feeding only 5 animals at a time? I wanted to adjust the feeder to feed 12 animals at a time, but I couldn't find a way in the database. *
  • **Toy Chest** placement limit increased from **1** to **12**.
*Only 3 are actually needed, but set to 12 to support the early game - if you have more species in a biome and want them to play on their own. *

**Adjustment of cultivation space definition**

  • **Maximum number of species** (default and all 4 biozones) increased from **4** to **12**.
*This is to support early game play before additional biozones are unlocked. Seriously, developers, for a player who doesn't know that the subsequent story will unlock more biozones, the species cap will just make them angry and frustrated at not being able to house all the animals they collect. *

**Creature definition adjustment**

  • The amount of materials harvested by **Evil Bird and Moon Crazy Beast** has been reduced from **5** to **3** to match all other creatures.
*Why? There's never any reason for the Harvest Birds and Moonstruck Beasts to harvest more than all other creatures. This is not necessary for production purposes. This will only confuse players seeing different numbers, leading them to guess that albino star animals have a higher harvest (which they don't). *

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
