Paladin HB50 Anti Material Rifle
I vividly remember winning my first game of Blackout during the beta with this sniper rifle in tow, my first ever victory in any battle royale ever. Tier 3 armor wasn't enough to survive against this thing, especially if they could land a headshot, and I so happened to land 4 for a victory... So of course I had to make sure I made this monster of a 50 cal special for H3VR, and I am still in disbelief I pulled it off just in time for the SRII advent calendar!
This AMR comes with thermal optics built into its scope, which can be toggled on and off by hitting the forward part of the scope base. It's "bolt action" is just a straight bolt but with added extra attention, adhering to its strange mechanics and staging bolt.
Truly it feels like you'd need nothing else if you were to venture off Northest Dakota with just this sniper, it'll take care of ya until you get bored of that map and quit H3. Just having it in the small gun ranges is a disservice, actually use it on the field to get the full picture, okay?

Updates
V1.0.1 -- Ok so I was aware the bolt sfx were sometimes unheard because this is a closed bolt weapon, not a bolt action, so the bolt would just not play sfx if done rapidly.
SO, this theorized fix based on the Nerf Strongarm, I did get around to making it now, but it could be a complete fluke for all I know. This update will be a test and if it doesn't work as intended, I'll just revert it back.
Thank you for being concerned about it Jolly, and thank you Kuromi for mentioning it, it made me get my act together in bringing this prototype "forced sfx" system to life.
V1.0.2 -- It works, just forgot to mute the bolt forward sfx, because it was just playing the bolt forward noises twice
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
