About this mod Author’s original text

Automatic SMG with low recoil, moderate fire rate and mid-range combat capabilities.

The Nambu Type 2, a Japanese World War II closed bolt submachine gun, given fresh coats of paints and some modifications. The Mark III Free Gun Reflector Sight is included as bespoke attachments to the Nambu Type 2, a British sight used on anti-aircraft guns in WWII, that is used as the reflex sight for all Axis SMGs in WWII.

The Nambu Type 2 and the Mark III Free Gun Reflector Sight from Call of Duty: WWII, including all its anachronisms and strange measurements, because skins are fun. All magazines are compatible with the other Nambu Type 2 variants.

Note: The weapons in this pack are a fictionalized version of the Nambu Type 2A, which turns it into an open bolt weapon. Other incorrect operations include the lack of a reciprocating barrel shroud-bolt combination, and a fake bolt handle on the right side. **These are intentionally kept incorrect because this is how the gun is modelled and operated in WWII.**

Features

  • The Nambu Type 2 and the Stitches, Second Horseman, The Dragon II and Wraith variants are all found in the SMG section of the item spawner, fire at ~681 RPM, with a 30 or 45 round magazine each, and are chambered in 8x22mm Nambu.
  • All magazines are usable with all variants, enjoy playing mix and match!
  • Muzzle, Sight and Lens attachment points to fit the HUB-23 Suppressor, Mark III Sight, and the Lens Sight.
  • All models, sounds and textures ripped directly from Call of Duty: WWII.
  • 10 magazines and 3 reflex sights
  • The ladder sights go up to 450m. There is a functional ejection port dust cover that MUST by flipped open for the gun to operate, as it is considered a safety.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
