About this mod Machine translation
SleeperAlert wake-up call
When a player awakens a monster, announce who awakened which monster (for example, ⚠ Player A awakened the Striker!).
- Chat box: The host sends online messages through the game's native chat pipeline, which can be seen by the entire team (teammates do not need to install this mod)
- Yellow Banner: Players with this mod will see an additional yellow banner in the center of the screen
- Monster names: built-in Chinese name comparison table for all enemy types (forward, power forward, shooter, scout, matrix, shadow, tank, flying insect, tentacle monster, etc.)
Function
- Detect direct awakenings (footsteps, running, flashlight, shooting, close combat, etc.) and chain awakenings, and report who awakened which monster (multiple of the same species are automatically counted, such as "3 strikers")
- Friendly damage reporting: bullet/melee/fire player damage to the player, reporting the attacker, victim and damage (default is displayed as a percentage of the victim's health, consistent with the game's health bar; the current version of the player's health is 25 points)
- Determining the culprit: Prioritize the "current detection target" of the game AI (usually the player who alerted it); when it cannot be determined, fall back to the nearest surviving player near the monster (the distance is configurable)
- Anti-swipe: the same monster will only be reported once within 60 seconds; consecutive events will be merged into one within the aggregation window (default 2.5 seconds)
- Skip the chain awakening caused by Scout's scream by default (can be turned on in configuration)
- Player name supports nickname (Steam name), with Chinese template
Online help
- Recommended for homeowners to install. If the host installs it, the chat box of the entire team will see the broadcast; teammates who have not installed the mod can also see the chat message, but there will be no yellow banner.
- Teammates who want the banner can also install it (each person only needs to install their own client, no permissions are required).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
