All Viewmodel FOV for GTFO
Author: nazelto
A client mod loaded by BepInEx 6. It can modify the normal (non-aiming) view model FOV of the following four types of first-person items respectively:
- Main weapons and special weapons
- Melee weapons
- Tools (turrets, minelayers, creature trackers and other professional slot tools)
- Resource packs, consumables, pockets/pickups and mission carry items
Classification uses GTFO's native InventorySlot and does not rely on item display names. Hacking tools are subsumed in the tool configuration; internal objects without valid item slots retain the game's original FOV.
This Mod follows the conversion formula of TisButAScratch-ViewmodelFOV:
Final FOV = Original FOV of item × (Configuration FOV ÷ 55)
Therefore, when a certain type is configured to 55, the original FOV of that type of item is maintained; when configured to other values, items of that type will be scaled proportionally, and the original FOV differences of different items will be retained.
Install
Place AllViewmodelFOV.dll into BepInEx/plugins/AllViewmodelFOV/ of your current GTFO configuration and launch the game.
It is recommended to remove the old ViewmodelFOV.dll to avoid installing two Mods with the same function at the same time. Even if both are present, this mod will write the final value with the lowest Harmony post-priority.
Configuration
Edit after first launch:
BepInEx/config/com.gtfo.allviewmodelfov.cfg
Example:
[General]
Enabled = true
[FOV]
- Primary and Special Weapon FOV = 90
- Melee Weapon FOV = 80
- Tool FOV = 75
- Resource, Consumable and Objective Item FOV = 70
Valid range is 1 to 179, game default is 55. This mod only modifies the normal holding view model and does not modify the ADS/aiming magnification or world camera FOV. Re-enter the game after modifying the configuration; if BepInEx ConfigurationManager is installed, you can also modify configuration items instantly in its interface.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
