About this mod Machine translation

describe

This is a tool reminiscent of the MTA:SA Map Editor days. You have a freecam navigation where you can generate objects (preview!) and move them with the mouse or keys. You can then save or load the map in various formats, currently supported are XML and Simple Trainer formats (objects.ini).

control

F7 or R3 + LB - Open the main menu.

WASD or Lefty - Move/rotate objects while flying inside the map editor, or while selecting them.

Q/E or LB/RB - Move the object up/down or rotate the object when it is selected.

F or Controller Y - Opens the object generation menu.

P or controller pause - opens the ped spawn menu.

V or controller return - Opens the vehicle spawn menu.

Up Arrow or Up Arrow - Generates a marker.

Shift or Controller A - Fly/move/rotate objects faster.

Alt or DPAD down - flying/moving/rotating objects slower.

Control or L3 - Switches from movement to rotation when selecting an object. The arrow above the object will switch colors. Yellow is for movement and red is for rotation.

Left mouse click or RT - selects an object while viewing it.

Right mouse click or LT - Use the mouse to move an object while viewing it.

Mouse Wheel or RB/LB - Rotates objects when snapping them to the cursor.

C or R3 - Copies an object while viewing it or selecting it.

Del or Controller X - Delete an object while it is being viewed.

Save and load maps

You can load and save maps as XML files or object.ini files. When selecting Load or Save from the main menu, you will be prompted for a file name. Note that when the map loads, they will stack, so use "New Map" to clear any objects.

You can load maps automatically by creating a directory in a script folder called "AutoloadMaps". Any file ending with an .xml or .ini extension will be loaded on gamestart. These maps will be saved with you when you save your current map, so before creating a map, use a new map

Install

1.Install ScriptHookV

  • Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x64, x86, Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013 x64, x86.
  • Install the latest ScriptHookVDotNet and read the requirements.
  • Download the latest NativeUI version from here.
  • Move all contents of the .zip into the /scripts/ directory. If it doesn't exist, create one.

extended object list

Normally a lot of objects cannot be spawned, but thanks to the GTA: MP team you can unlock this and spawn buildings and a few other things!

Beyond that, you will need an updated ObjectList.ini. Just rename the included "Expanded ObjectList.ini" to ObjectList.ini and replace the one in the scripts/ folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
