= = = =Description
This is an add-on with a custom AWC file (does not replace anything): a heavily modified custom engine/exhaust audio that can be loaded onto any vehicle by changing the audioNameHash in vehicle.meta
It adds AWC files as well as custom DAT151 and DAT54 REL files.
== Changelog v1.4 ==
Changed files (replace these when updating) - dat151.rel/dat54.rel
Changed - Added Nissan 2.6L RB26DETT I6 engine sound. Fixed some more resources. Improved turbo dump valve SFX for Toyota 3.0L 2JZ-GTE I6 engine sounds.
= = = =Installation
It is highly recommended to use the latest OpenIV version to simplify this process.
A quick search for "OpenIV" in Baidu should bring up a website where you can install it.
Each mod provides detailed instructions in readme.txt.
For any of your cars, vanilla or mod, you need to find and open the corresponding vehicle. meta, find and change the audioNameHash line.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
