About this mod Machine translation

Graveyard Keeper 2 Cross Zone Zombie Supply

A BepInEx mod for caretaker zombies at zombie supply stations. When a delivery order needs an item, the mod counts eligible storage across every saved scene. If the total is sufficient, the zombie walks to the nearest storage container in its own zone, withdraws that order's one item type from storage in any zone, and completes the normal delivery.

The zombie still walks, waits at the container, and delivers using the game's original behavior. No individual container needs to hold the full order quantity. The mod is enabled by default.

For construction objects outside work zones, such as the forest's damaged ladder, the mod combines materials from storage chests in every saved scene and the player backpack. If their combined quantity meets each requirement, the craft can start and the game consumes the materials across those inventories. Individual stacks or chests do not need to meet the full requirement. This feature is also enabled by default.

Installation

  • Install BepInExPack 5.4.2305 and this package Mod Manager, then launch Modded.
  • For manual installation, copy CrossZoneZombieSupply.dll to BepInEx/plugins/CrossZoneZombieSupply.
  • After the first launch, set Enabled = false to disable caretaker supply, or GlobalConstructionStorage = false to disable global construction materials, in BepInEx/config/sieme.gk2.cross-zone-zombie-supply.cfg. Restart the game after changing either setting.

The caretaker feature uses the game's inventory white and black lists when selecting resource sources. If resources disappear while the zombie is walking, the pickup falls back to the game's original handling. The construction feature uses the game's normal material check and consumption on a combined inventory. Work zone crafting, gardeners, porters, conveyors, and manual player inventory actions are unchanged. The mod does not add save data.

Another mod that patches caretaker order checks or pickup may conflict. In particular, use this mod or ZombieLogistics for caretaker cross-zone supply, rather than both.

Build

On Windows, extract the official BepInEx 5.4.23.5 Windows x64 archive to vendor/BepInEx, then run:.\build.ps1 -GameDir 'C:\path\to\Graveyard Keeper 2'

The script uses the game's managed assemblies and Windows.NET Framework C# compiler. The resulting DLL is dist/CrossZoneZombieSupply.dll. tools/inspect-il.ps1 was used to inspect this game's caretaker methods during development.

Chinese description

The caretaker zombies at the supply depot will count the resources in eligible boxes in all areas. When the total amount is sufficient, it goes to the nearest box in its area, deducts an item from the current order from any area, and then delivers it according to the original process.

Construction outside of the workspace (such as a broken ladder in a forest) will add up to all saved scene storage chests and player backpacks. Each material can be produced if the total amount is sufficient, and the materials will be deducted from these inventories across regions according to the game's original production process. Both features are turned on by default and can be turned off separately in the configuration file.

Verification

The caretaker feature was confirmed working in game by the requesting player. Version 1.1.0 compiles against the local Graveyard Keeper 2 Mono assembly; the new construction feature still needs an in-game check. Game updates may change the patched methods; rebuild and retest after an update.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
