I (the original author zlostnypopolnik, the same below) don’t understand English very well, I’m sorry.

There are people smarter than me in the universe. If they think I'm doing something wrong, please tell me what it is and how to correct it.

My configuration:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-core processor

RTX 3070 8GB

32GB DDR4 RAM

2xM2 SSD

27-inch 2560x1440 monitor

I have the NG version of the game,

I play the FO1440 at 4x2560 on the ULTRA.

ZP’s battle music:

The combat music feels so dated and unpleasant that I usually use a mod to turn it off. I even tried recreating it myself but was never happy with the results.

However, a guy came on the scene who changed it, his name was Keosz (I had his permission). The combat music is now heavier, more energetic, and most importantly modern, while still staying true to the overall musical style you'd expect in a Fallout game.

The mod contains 23 songs (one of which is mine) that completely replace the 16 original battle music.

This plugin contains changes related to strange cuts of songs. I can't even describe it to you, the song just plays weird. Now the song plays from beginning to end without interruption. Of course, once the battle is over, the battle music ends.

Another change is that the battle music will play even if you're level 100 and come face to face with the terrifying Mole.

I stress tested the mod with level 1 and level 100 characters and everything worked as I expected

conduct.

ZP's Music for the Wasteland and Classic Fallout ambient music patches

If you don't like vanilla music, try my mod:

Gritty FO4 music by ZP

This mod will likely continue to be expanded, so if you like this, stay tuned.

If you hear anything unusual, please report it. I'll fix it as soon as possible.

compatibility:

Use common sense and be incompatible with mods that do the same thing. Not compatible with mods that remove combat music, redo combat music loops, and redo combat music playback based on player level.

Some mods change the settings for combat music, and some turn it off completely. If the battle music doesn't play for you, check if you have such a mod activated.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
