F4SE plugin to remove PCLevelMult flag from all NPC forms
About this mod Machine translation
F4SE plugin to remove PCLevelMult flag from all NPC forms
information
Why:
When the player levels up, all loaded NPCs with the PCLevelMult flag will automatically level up and their health will magically increase. This is how NPCs scale to infinity with the player.
The problem arises when you level up in battles with NPCs. You'll see them heal a bit due to the extra health added. It's usually 5 health at most, which isn't much, and when you encounter these NPCs in combat, 5 health is a pixel or two of their health bar.
Now, if you use a mod like SCOURGE, you may have noticed that NPCs gain stupidly high stats as you level up. For example, SCOURGE will give the DC guard about 100 hit points. However, if you happen to level up while loading, their health will be recalculated by the game and the 100 health will be reset to the health they had in vanilla, which could end up being 1,720 health at player level 50. This is stupid.
Now, it can be fixed by manual editing, but I don't want to edit hundreds of NPCs because it will create conflicts. Therefore, this plugin will remove that flag when loading the game and set the NPC's level to their CalcMinLevel or CalcMaxLevel - depending on what is selected in the .ini.
You should use this:
If you want to disable such extensions, or are using SCOURGE or similar mods, you should 100% download this plugin to solve your problem quickly and easily.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
