background:
The XM197 anti-materiel “blast” rifle is designed to counter Chinese 35mm grenade launchers, which serve a similar counter-sniper role. It fires 25mm grenade machine gun rounds, which are automatic artillery shells fired with lower propellant and lower velocity - not enough to hit aircraft at high altitudes, but enough to take on light armor and infantry. Accurate, with a variable-length barrel, it can send projectiles in a relatively flat trajectory, arc over an object, or something in between. Affectionately known as the "Demolition Rifle" due to its ability to fire standard 25mm autocannon rounds, with different types of rounds used for different occasions.
Made from the Red Raptor "Intervention" chambered from 50mg into 25mm grenades, it uses a short-recoil operation and a small ring-locking bolt that allows for a short firing stroke.
Properties:
Damage: 50 + 50 splash over 200 AOE
Rate of fire: 16
Range: 203
Accuracy: 73
Weight: 22.4
Value: 749
Caliber: 25mm grenade
Capacity: 3/6/12/24
Features:
A grenade launcher that can transform into a sniper rifle or grenade machine gun.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
