About this mod Machine translation
describe:
I'm disappointed that there aren't more variations on the Tesla Armor from Automatron, or that you can't move the coils from one armor to another, in my case specifically for the X-01, since that armor has a Tesla variant in New Vegas. So, to practice modding for Fallout 4 and correct this problem, I created this as my first game mode.
The armor functions identically to a Tesla T-60, with parts separate from the original X-01 with the same power, and built the same way in a construction kit as part of my research into how the kit works.
Place:
The Tesla X-01 replaced one of the levels of incomplete power armor at Federal Surveillance Center K-21B, in an abandoned hut in the Glowing Sea.
File selection:
You have two versions to choose from.
The Tesla X01 (Automatron Style) file only has shoulders and backpacks, and the statistics of these pieces each account for 5 points.
The Tesla X01 (Full Set) file is a complete set of Tesla armor with visible coils on all parts, each piece is legendary, but only provides 2.5 points per piece.
In total both armors provide 15 points of increased energy damage and their stats are identical, the only difference is the number of coils. So choose your favorite!
Require:
Latest patches and automation DLC.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
