X01 Power Armor World War II fighter inspired paint job
This is the first mod I've uploaded, please keep it up and report any bugs! Thanks!
Added four separate paint pieces inspired by Spitfire Camouflage and color schemes.
You can find the remaining options in the File tab.
New Badge-less Optional File, simply download the standalone version of your choice, then download and install the optional de-badger plugin which will remove the badges and logos from the version you selected during installation.
Standalone version now available!
The standalone version comes with buffs, just because I didn't notice it doesn't mean that the new Camo Paint Jobs are buff-free.
If you don't want them, you can download ESP fixes in the optional files section, thank you for your understanding.
You can now mix and match without having to download everything at once!
Each set contains four colors in the resolution and version of your choice, and you can download different versions and use them together.
For example, 1k is rust-cleaned with 4k, and 2k is lightly rusted.
If you have an older version (alternative version), please uninstall it before installing the new version.
They don't conflict, but older versions will be redundant.
If this is the first mod you install, you may need to enable mods for Fallout 4.
Gopher has done a great quick tutorial on how to do this here.
Since the new version uses plugins, you need to enable them, which you can find here.
What does this mod do?
This mod adds new individual paints for the X01 Power Armor, you'll find them listed as TDS WW2 "Color" "Versions".
How do I install it?
I recommend using the Mod Manager, it's easy to use and allows you to install and uninstall mods in the park.
Just select the download manager, go to the files tab, select the version you want, and each download comes with all colors and types of your choice (e.g. clean, rusty).
If you installed manually, simply extract the contents of the archive you downloaded in the Fallout 4 "Data" folder.
Usually located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
