Update - 12/19:
It's been a while since I've updated the mod, but the silence is the result of too much OT, focusing on getting my 10mm pistol back done, and trying to figure out how to make this standalone. It's obviously not too difficult, but I haven't had time to really look into it yet, but it's something I'm working on. If I'm successful, I'll change the download format and release them as one big package, and you can choose what to spawn in the game through the console or purchase through the vendor. I'll be posting other uniforms at the same time like split camo etc since I don't have to do it piecemeal.
Update - 8:09 PM, 12/8:
Finished uploading overnight, Allgemeine, Feldgrau, Feldgrun and Oak-B fall/spring styles uploaded evenly. The Splinter camouflage will be the next day or so, as will the denizened versions of the SS uniforms.
***I uploaded a bat file that you can download, put into your main Fallout 4 directory, where \Data is, but not in the \Data folder, then open the game console and type "bat uniform". No matter what you install, it will give you two uniforms, two helmets, and two hats, so if you don't install anything to cover the airship captain's hat, you'll get that instead of an SS topping out. I know it can be a pain to remember all those project IDs (it is for me anyway), so if you need it, I'm obligated.
Update - December 15, 12:15 pm:
New Oak-B Fall and Spring Uniforms Live! This includes the uniforms themselves as well as their respective helmets. They will replace army uniforms and dirty army clothing. Should install fine with NMM, but if you want to mix and match with other stuff, see the readme for more detailed instructions.
Allgemeine coats are somewhat worn with hats, and gray and green robes. Expect deNazified Allgemeine robes to appear later tonight, possibly in camo as well.
Update: 12/7:
Want to take a moment to remember what happened 74 years ago when the Germans attacked Pearl Harbor and brought the United States into war, which of course led to the atomic bombing, the atomic fuel automobile, Mr. Handy and the Vault-Tec. But, nonetheless, World War II captivated all involved, and we should not forget the extent of that carnage. On the update:
Alright guys, the next update will be around noon tomorrow! Each package will include two designs, fall and spring Oak-B camo, or two separate variations of split camo. Each one will cover Army Fatigues and Dirty Army Fatigues, for example, the Oak-B pack will have a fall variant covering Army Fatigues and a spring variant Dirty, etc.
The same goes for the helmets; one version of the texture will cover the Army Helmet, and another version will cover the Dirty Army Helmet. Each download package will contain both helmets already included. It will also include Feldgrau and Feldgrun pointed hats.
The black SS robe, hat and helmet will be released as their own downloads. If you want to combine it with any other file, just rename the file to overwrite the file you want to replace and place it in the appropriate folder.
The Feldgrau and Feldgrun robes will be arriving later in the day as I need some time to finish testing and patching the map. Their releases will also include associated peak caps.
Versions of the SS robe and cap without the Nazi insignia will be released later that day on the 8th. I especially try to help those who want them and they need some final tweaks before I'm satisfied. Rendering stitching alone is a huge pain in arsch.
An updated readme file containing all new instructions and data will be released.
A more detailed update and picture list will be uploaded immediately before I place the files.
Thanks again to everyone for sticking with me over the past two weeks, I hope you're as excited as I am about uploading my content!
These files should be placed directly into the \Data folder within your Fallout 4 folder. Of course, make sure the sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\,textures\,mesh\,scripts\,sound\,music\,misc\,s …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
