introduce

This is a simple Stronghold plugin that adds some new wireless power to your workshop. These power supplies can operate without any wires, but connecting them to a larger grid is still an option. Power Boxes are the main focus of this mod and come in 3 varieties. Low (10pwr), Medium (20pwr) and High (30pwr). All of these boxes have an effective radius of 1000, which is roughly the length of the Red Rocket corridor in all directions. The second power source is a generator, one of which is residential grade (15pwr) and the other is industrial grade (25pwr). The effective radius of these generators is slightly larger than the power box, at 1500. In addition to these portable generators, trailer generators (2000pwr) with an effective radius of 40 are also available. Finally, the largest craftable power source in this mod is the Transformer. This piece of metal provides 100 power units with an effective range of 5000, capable of powering most Starlight Drive-Ins. The power supply requires you to find a perk magazine, which can be found in West Everette Estate. The magazine is located near some new generators and on the foundation of one of the unfinished houses. A standalone power box version of this mod is also available for those who don't want the other items.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
