Reupload my old mod
I (original author BashminScallops, the same below) have recreated about 30 Fallout 3 furniture models for Fallout 4's construction mode. I created each model from scratch using a modern 3D workflow while making sure to stick to Fallout 3's original cool design. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I did making it.
All new Fallout 3 furniture can be found under the Furniture tab in the stronghold building menu.
Known issues:
Unfortunately, I've been told that it's not possible to make custom collision meshes without the 2013 version of 3ds max (which I'm led to believe is actually no longer sold). This means some models, namely wooden shelves. Don't have exact collisions on every disk shelf. That being said, I've done my best to match the new model with the existing collision mesh in the game.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
