About this mod Machine translation
Pre-mod: F4SE, MCM menu, Shelter DLC.
This mod brings exercise functionality to the game and weight values for the player character. There are a total of 3 values: lean meat, muscle, and fat to change your character's physical condition.
Now what you eat changes your weight and if you don't exercise you will gain weight.
So how to exercise? In the original version, there were many fitness items on the workbench that were useless. Now they will become useful. For example, weightlifting machine, pommel horse, etc. The translated text mentions that sprinting can also have a weight loss effect. . . But the author page doesn’t explain it, so I’m not sure if it’s valid.
After installing the mod you need to eat a food to activate these features.
You can adjust the proportions of lean meat, muscle, and fat in the MCM menu, based on 3 meals a day. If you don't exercise at all, it will take about 15 hours (real time) to go from the thinnest to the fattest.
You will lose a little weight every six hours. This is to imitate your daily walking or running, which will consume your fat. However, the author said that this alone does not keep you healthy, so you have to use exercise equipment.
If you have muscles, you will get bonus bonuses. If you are obese, of course, the bonuses will be reduced.
Future plans: more unique modifications and bonus modes. A UI widget that notifies the player of the current obesity status.
In addition: When you click [Show current obesity status] in the MCM menu, I can't find the text of the pop-up menu, so I can't translate it. [Look at the picture below]
The first is the current value for lean meat, the second is for muscle, but the three are for fat.
If nothing unexpected happens, I will not update the Chinese version of this mod again, because the files to be modified are very scattered. Moreover, the author's code for writing the MCM menu is different from others. The text is translated directly in the .json file. There will be an error when extracting txt. So it will have to be translated again for future updates. Very annoying.
There is only the traditional version, because it is very troublesome to convert many files into simplified Chinese, and you need to use tools to convert it yourself. The .json files of esp, pex and mcm must be converted to simplified Chinese. Just open .json with TXT text.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
