About this mod Machine translation
Added previously uncultivable wild plants to the Resources > Food menu. This mod uses a new form, so it's compatible with almost every other mod. Start your chemical farm!
As shown in the picture, this is a simple mod that adds previously unplantable wild plants to the stronghold workshop menu. These are functionally identical to the original plants, and each has some special variations to aid your decor. All added plants are located in Resources > Food. Each of them gives a food value of 0.5.
added plants
blood red leaves
Tarberry
brain fungus
glowing fungi
mutated fern flower
silt beans
Harper flower
Things to note:
This mod uses a new form to avoid any compatibility issues. However, this means that you cannot go to your settlement and select a non-plantable vanilla plant (such as Blood Red Leaf) and attempt to remove/store it. This mod adds new objects.
Bloodleaf and Tarberry can only be grown in water, so they need to be planted above water; and since they prefer to sink themselves to the bottom, placement can be a bit tricky. You can still harvest them just fine if they're underwater, but settlers may appear to have their heads underwater when they enter their crouching labor animation. If you want to place them more precisely, then I recommend a placement mod like Place Everywhere, but of course the mod will work just fine by default.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
