Prefix:
Far Harbor
Nuka World DLC
Updated on September 19th:
Version 2.1
Improved visuals for Super Mutant Stew; fixed some sub-optimal vanilla placement for Super Mutant Cauldron
Updated to version 2.0 beta on September 5th
This really bothers me. Cook with a fire that is "out" or even without fire, but you can still cook on it.
2.0 beta update
2.0 is a beta version and requires DLC Far Harbor and DLC Nuka-World
This mod does not change or even break the pre-composition.
All "outdoor" cooking stations now have campfires.
All Cooking Fires have bonfires (implemented in version 1.0)
All Cooking S pits now have bonfires, even craftable ones
All Cooking G Round Pots now have campfires
Cooking pots can now be crafted at workstations
New stew in the pot (hopefully it doesn't look like vomit)
The Super Mutant Cauldron (not the Cooking Station) now has glowing wood and favorite Super Mutant stews
ESL tagged ESP.
"Cooking Stations" have been renamed to the corresponding types of stations, "Cooking Fire", "Cooking Spit" and "Cooking Pot".
compatibility
Definitely incompatible with any mod that changes the cooking station grid.
Compatible with PRP as it does not contact pre-composition.
Patch available
Lootable patches for workbench and federation caves.
The COTC patch is not strictly necessary, it only contains some visual improvements.
More information
New cooking kebabs:
For some reason, Todd decided to make fireless cooking kebabs, but then he personally placed various types of doused campfires under the kebabs ("it worked"). And the fires are all put into the pre-combine and mostly placed like one as well.
Since I didn't want to destroy/edit/create a new pre-combine, I had to manually place the new cooking grill tip exactly on the pre-combine fire. Now there is more wood and half of the wood is not glowing because you can't make it glow without breaking or creating a new pre-combine.
So it is what it is. IMHO still much better than no fire at all.
New cooking pots:
Also "Todd's thing", there was no fire at all in the pot and no stew.
Crafting it requires 3 Steel, 2 Wood, and 1 Cloth, and requires the Local Leader Perk 2.
There is no stirring sound when stirring in the pot. Sounds may have been missing from Ground Pot's original script.
New Super Mutant Cauldron:
Since it's not a cooking station, I haven't added fire yet, just glowing wood. I may add fire in the next version.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
