Video mod add-on installation
Please install each add-on one by one for each plugin:
Install it, load the game, save and install the next addon.

Radiant Queen
Radiation Queen allows you to play video on every gaming TV.
It uses compatible hotapes, some of which are included with VotW, while others can be downloaded separately.
It needs to be close enough to the TV to be detected (about 1 to 1.5 meters in real life).
TVs and radiant queens need power.
Each Radiant Queen provides a 50 happiness bonus to your settlement
radiant star
Radiation Star is a projector that allows you to play videos on a specific screen. Only Fallout Star requires power, not the screen. It uses the same holotapes as Fallout Queen. If some videos are currently incompatible, you won't be able to insert them. There are several restrictions on using the screen, please read the F.A.Q. for more information. Each Radiation Star provides a 50 happiness bonus to your settlement.
Holotape Crafting Workbench (included with VotW, found through the VotW Workshops category) enables you to make S.P.E.C.I.A.L. holotapes, as well as all holotape/film-reel add-on modules.
TVs brought by other mods such as Homemaker and Quaz30's TV Replacer are not supported.
In most cases, any modules that change/remove the Starlight Drive-In parts that VotW relies on (such as the projector room and Drive-In screen) are incompatible. This includes Starlight Delight, Starlight Cinema and Starlight Reappearance.
Starlight Drive-In plug-in
This optional accessory (in optional files) allows you to play movie reels on the Starlight Drive-In screen. It uses Movie Reel, from this add-on and other video modules. You can find these scrolls on the stairs near the projector, or craft them at the workbench. The screen needs to be repaired with 30 pieces of steel and the main building needs to be powered on. It is not compatible with mods that change the main building/screen shape (retexture mods are mostly compatible.
Essential bag

Radiant Queen and Radiant Star to play the video.
A screen from Fallout Star.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
