Original address:
*As shown in the picture, the Wasteland Melody version of the military rifle was issued only because the Diakyuto plug-in required it. If you want to use Lore Friendly's AR, I recommend directly using the SREP Redux or F4NV version of the military rifle. Both of them are more modern than the WM version, much more comfortable to use, and more importantly, they are Chinese-language (and no one has done this until now). *

Service Rifle is back and better than ever.
A staple of the NCR's arsenal, the military rifle was an iconic sight in Fallout: New Vegas and now completely remade in Fallout 4. Featuring the Service Rifle and its sister weapon, the Assault Carbine, this mod aims to be a lore-friendly and flawless reimagining of the original weapon. Storm the Commonwealth with the NCR's signature weapon, or swap out some mods to convert to an assault carbine for maximum firepower.
With dozens of unique meshes and textures, a unique set of sounds, and fully custom animations, Service Rifle seamlessly blends into Fallout 4's lore and aesthetic.

- Extremely detailed, lore-friendly retro style that blends seamlessly with Fallout 4’s aesthetic

Visual module progress:
As you upgrade to better mods, there will be noticeable visual differences in their styles. Lower quality mods will show their age and wear with rust and damage, while higher quality mods will be cleaner and less broken. Additionally, each major level mod has a unique visual appearance, so you can tell at a glance whether that smorgasbord of raider rifles is worth buying!
General MODS:
Universal Mods are part of a system designed for Fallout Cascadia where mods can be shared between weapons via universal adapters or "Picatinny rails." The Service Rifle has two slots available for universal Mods: Accessories and Scopes. To install most scopes on a service rifle, you first need to install the rail adapter, which provides the mounting interface for the scope. Once attached, you will see the scopes available for you to install. The flat-top receiver allows direct mounting of universal endoscopes without the need for adapters.
Accessories are easier to use - they appear in their own slots and don't require any setup if the barrel you're using supports them. However, some barrels, like the stubby Breacher Barrel, have no attachment points and no accessory options.
balance:
Service rifle balance with van illa game. It has a starting damage of 30 and uses 5.56 turns by default. Auto-fire is scaled similarly to the original game, with around 50% less damage in the auto-receiver. …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
