Wasteland Imports - Goodies from all across the Wasteland
I regret to announce that there will no longer be active development at Wasteland Imports. Customtemplar and I were getting tired of Fallout 4 mods (mainly due to a lack of motivation as of late) and rather than get stuck in a bad cycle of trying to work on Wasteland Imports, we decided to stop and feel obligated to do it.
So, what happens to Wasteland Imports now?
Well, not a lot to be honest. I have some unfinished work that I want to implement for WI (at some point), so that means I may continue to do some minor updates (which is probably, don't quote me on this), but please note that basically all the important features we planned to add will be removed.
Regarding Wasteland Imports assets, we are willing to share them as long as you take the time to ask me (via PM) before doing anything. This only concerns assets we create, assets we acquire from other mods will require authorization from their original authors.
If you'd like additional information on what's going to happen from now on, check out my pasted post in the comments section.
On a personal note, I'd like to thank everyone who downloaded this mod, supported and helped develop Wasteland Imports.
Requires version 1.51
Nuka World, Far Harbor and Automatron DLC.
Highlights of the release include poison for melee and unarmed weapons, new thrown weapons, the return of NV's lock-on-force mechanic, and some various new consumables.
More details are available in the 1.51 changelog and on the Wasteland Imports Wikia.
Did you miss the ancient wasteland? Well, you might be interested in Wasteland Imports.
Wasteland Imports is an ongoing project that aims to add items and mechanics from previous Fallout games into Fallout 4 in a seamless and friendly way. Beyond that, Wasteland Imports aims to unify the three tiers of DLC (Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka World) and rebalance some vanilla items to coexist well with the new items. Additionally, this mod restores some of the item effects of their FO3/FNV counterparts.
We plan to gradually add new items from Fallout New Vegas, but also Fallout 1, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout Tactics, including cut content, lore, and unreleased items that existed in Van Buren.
You can follow our progress here. If you want something special, be patient. We are working on it.
You can find information about all the new content added by this mod on the Wasteland Imports Wikia.
Optional plugins:
Nuka Cola Cherry Label: An alternative version of the Nuka Cola Cherry label.
Tags for Nuka Cola Quantum: An alternative version of the Nuka Cola Quantum tag (inspired by FO3/FNV).
Purified Water Recipes: Replaced all recipes using dirty water with pure water (imported from Wasteland).
CLASSIC WATER BOTTLE: Replace purified water, dirty water and flush water with plastic bottles (inspired by FO3/FNV).
If you find any issues, please don't hesitate to make a bug report.
If you have suggestions to improve or balance this mod, we are open to suggestions.
If you come across some new items regularly, please report it so we can adjust the loot table.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
