About this mod Machine translation
Add helmets, armor, and weapons to role-play as a wolf-themed character. All assets are made from scratch
[Installation] (Does not require any other mods/DLC)
Manual: Place the .esp and .ba2 files into the "Data" folder. May need to be activated in the in-game "Mods" menu.
MO2 or Vortex: Not tested, but .zip should work. if not please tell me
Masks, armor and claws can all be crafted - at the Chemistry Workbench - under the "Wolf" entry.
As a werewolf fan, I wanted to play a character inspired by a wolf. This mod aims to add weapons and armor to make a visually interesting character functional in that sense. The armor is male-specific, but the helmet and claws should be available for female characters.
All assets are designed and crafted from the ground up in an attempt to fit into Fallout's world and art style.
There are 3 versions, "Low", "Medium" and Normal. The normal version has endgame properties, and I added two more variants to use the same outfits and weapons throughout the game. Personally, I use low until level 20 and medium until level 60.
The claw is considered an unarmed weapon, so be sure to use the "Iron Fist" talent as the "Big Alliance" talent does not apply to it.
This is my first mod for a Bethesda game. If you find any game-breaking bugs, please let me know.
The only bugs I know of now are that you can't drop masks, and that the model is glitchy in the menu (very funny when you try to sell it), but to me it's not a big enough deal to try to correct it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
