About this mod Machine translation
This will restore much of what was originally cut from Combat Zone, including
Cait's original introduction
basement
Betting on NPC battles
Players' ability to compete for caps
It doesn't restore the drinking buddy mission to the combat zone because I'm not sure there's enough left in the files to do that. The bartender wasn't available either, so it brought its own wine.
Install
If you don't have access to the basement, place the mod at the bottom of the loading order. This works best with brand new characters. It can be used with characters who haven't been to a combat zone before, but I can't guarantee it won't be bug-free. If you've killed everyone in the combat zone, you can explore the basement.

FAQ
Where are my weapons once I enter the arena?
They are located in a metal box labeled Weapons Storage next to the elevator labeled Lift One.
Why am I capped at the amount I bet in a conversation?
Bethesda has changed the way capital letters are handled in this game, they no longer appear as inventory items, which is the easiest way to do it.
Why would Bethesda cut this?
Because there's almost no way it works.
Did you know you can do X to sneak up on guns/power armor/explosives without getting into trouble?
yes. I've spent too much time trying to catch all the ways to do it, but I'm sure there are some I've missed. That could be another reason why they cut this.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
