Compilation with Python 3.13 is significantly faster using SQL-driven pipelines

Reduce storage usage - extract only files that need optimization

Transition from direct file access to metadata-based intelligent processing

Full UTF-8 and code page support for global file and folder compatibility

Enhanced logging capabilities for better diagnostics and transparency

Updated on May 5th:

Version v1.2

Thanks to Shawnee1222, bug fix and exclusion of \Actors\Character\*, which caused some users to face errors due to size mismatch

The packaged ontology and instruction manual have been uploaded together. The installation principle is actually similar to BS Studio or F4SE. If anyone transfers the tutorial video or makes his own instruction video, I will post the link later.

Updated Chinese tutorial video on April 14th:

At the same time, he is also an excellent integration package author. Those who are interested in survival can click on the space to download his modern pain integration package (or wait for 3.0)

Update 1.1 on April 7th: The original author has made some adjustments that may give you an extra 1 or 2 fps - depending on your mod list

Also update the script files for alternative GPUs. If VRAMr is not using the best GPU to optimize the file, these scripts will force the code to use a different GPU. Use Task Manager/Performance/GPU to determine. Install as a separate mod so that future VRAMr updates will not overwrite these settings.

The packaged ontology, script files, single module optimizer and user manual have been uploaded together.

VRAMr is an automated utility for optimizing texture files in Wabbajack, Collection or personal and unique load order

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
