VOT - Increase VATS distance

This mod greatly increases the distance at which you can locate NPCs from V.A.T.S. Values ​​such as hit chance or damage are not affected. Useful for identifying enemies or when you're too lazy to aim! If it spawns and is in your sights, you can V.A.T.S it!

The NMM installer now contains optional options to increase hit rate at longer ranges, alternatives are:

BASE MOD

Only V.A.T.S range is increased, hit chance remains vanilla.

Base MOD + increases hit chance

Increases V.A.T.S range and slightly increases your hit chance from longer ranges. Depending on your stats and perks, there's about a 10-30% hit chance at maximum distance. Close range has very little effect on hit chance.

Base MOD + High increases hit chance

Increases V.A.T.S range and increases your hit chance from longer ranges. Depending on your stats and perks, there's about a 30-60% hit rate at maximum distance. Modest impact on hit chance at close range.

Basic MOD + MAXED increases the chance of hitting (CHEAT mode)

Increases V.A.T.S range and maximizes your hit chance from any distance. All body parts are always 95%.

Install

Make sure you have completed all necessary configurations to enable mods in Fallout 4.

Using Mod Manager (NMM):

• Download ESP with your manager.
• Activate the mod in Mod Manager and complete the installation.

Manual installation:

• Download the file manually.
• Open zipper using file archive.
• Extract the ESP to the Data folder of your Fallout 4 installation.
• Open plugins.txt (located in C:\Users\(username\AppData\Fallout4)) and add the name of the ESP to the list.

uninstall

Using Mod Manager (NMM):

• Double click on it to deactivate the mod.
• Mark the deactivated mod and delete it.

Manual uninstall:

• Delete all files associated with the mod from the Data folder.
• Remove the name of the ESP from plugins.txt.
