Used with registrator2000's Visible Weapons - 3rd person holster mod.
It comes with a FOMOD installer. Individual plugins are available as well as All-in-One merging options.
If using the separate add-on, the holster can be crafted in Chem Station - Visible Weapons Extended menu or Utility menu.
My mod requires the materials and textures from the original weapon model to be installed. If you're experiencing a crash, it's likely that you've lost the file my mod points to. If you are using all weapons, install only the merged add-on and select only installed holsters from the detached add-ons.
2.0 introduces modular customizability: attachments can now be changed on the Armor Workbench: sights, scopes, some camouflage, tapes, suppressors, tactical gear. Most guns even have unique positions adjusted for the Rebel backpack.
This mod requires visible weapons from holsters and sheaths (weapon model fixes) for full functionality.
(Only optional files are required, the main mod is not)
If you don't already have this fix, you must install Visible Weapons cleanly:
- Unlink all weapons and use the cqf holster uninstall command in the console.
- Save the game in a new slot and exit the game
- Uninstall Visible Weapons through registrator2000 - third-person leather case
- Load latest save ("Ok" warning), clean save to new slot
- Reinstall visible weapons via registrator2000 - Third Person Holster 1.3
- Reach the masses with FIX from Altered Beast’s mod
- Load the last save and relink your weapon.
Some weapons are missing attachments. Some had to be cut back to avoid extreme cuts, some were left out because they weren't worth my time.
Due to the nature of static models, clipping may occur. I try to keep a wide space between the body and the model, but I can't guarantee it will work with everyone's character.
Enjoy, hope you like this mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
