----

Based on the "Fallout 4" high-definition texture DLC, I introduce to you a pseudo-remastered version of a module I made seven years ago. Classic T51b power armor, or the 1997 version of the T51b. In this remake of the original mod, you'll notice even greater attention to detail. Works with all versions of Fallout.

Function

  • T51 material replacer based on original 1997 Fallout renders.
  • Craftable Brotherhood camouflage, inspired by Diamond and Cabot's dialogue characters from the 1997 game.

illustrate

  • Drag and drop files into your Data folder to view ESP, or install using your favorite mod manager
  • Can be found in your T51 paint jobs as "BOS T51", "BOS T51 Paladin", "BOS T51 Insignia" and "West-Tek T51" (replacement version only).

Thanks: I made this mod after browsing Reels on YouTube and seeing someone still using the version I made in the late 2010s. This inspired me to revisit the mod and make improvements where I think it could be improved. I'd like to thank everyone who has enjoyed and continues to enjoy my small contribution to the modding community.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
