***IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT BUG REPORTS/VANILLA QUEST ISSUES***

Due to the increasing number of bug reports about random vanilla missions not working like other recurring bugs, I'm dropping support for this mod. I'm currently working on a new companion that will be more carefully tested, will be debugged on the fly, and shouldn't contain as many bugs as Laura.

Laura was my first mate, and I knew there were a lot of conflicts and unresolved warnings everywhere, so it got to the point where debugging was almost impossible for me, I'm not a professional modder, I only do it in my spare time. Sorry to anyone who has questions, I understand this must be frustrating but it was the same for me too. This mod is now provided "as is", so any major issues or issues, it's best to uninstall.

Introducing Laura, a British vault girl who finds herself in Diamond City, just waiting for someone to show her some excitement. Laura is my first fully fledged standalone companion mod, so I spent a lot of time working on it - here are some of the features you'll find in this mod:

Laura is voiced in a speech by British voice actor Emily Linard

She can trade with you, share her thoughts, and fight like a pro, melee and energy weapon when ready!

You can build a close relationship with Laura by doing things you enjoy, like choosing locks. Reach a high enough affinity to gain brand new benefits!

Is the terminal difficult to hack into? Ask Laura! She will happily unlock any terminal she can

Inhabit her own criminal camp, as well as Diamond City - so don't go medieval with those residents!

Make random comments based on where your characters are going - including Super Duper Mart, Pickman Gallery, and more

All comments, thoughts and dialogue are 100% unique to Lara Croft - no re-editing of other NPC dialogue!

Even your own character (whether male or female) will express issues in dialogue! No silent head nodding and waiting...

Note that the affinity system in Laura is not 100% complete - when you do the right things to impress her, you will gain affinity, but when you reach the right level, she will not engage in dialogue with you. But when you reach the obsession stage, you should get her special perk, which gives you extra damage with plasma weapons (like the one she has), and also extra damage resistance in the Vault set. I'll be doing the affinity conversations in a later version, so bear with me - scripting isn't the easiest!

If you find a bug, please report it. I tested this to the best of my ability and as far as I can tell, everything is fine. If you enjoyed Laura's trip, please leave a comment! I've attached some videos where you can hear her voice.

Please note that the mod Azar ponytail hairstyle is required as Laura's hair comes from this mod. You will be prompted to download this file during installation.
