To me (Tenhats, one of the original authors, the same below), this has always seemed like an ideal place to settle, and it should be done well;
So, with the help of Aurelianis, I tried my best to make this my most detailed solution yet.
enjoy.
feature:
Immersive restoration of all 5 open buildings
Open all wood-panelled buildings and rooms by removing plywood
Highly scrappable, no external modules required
Regeneration pre-mix
Custom borders to perfectly match your build space
Fully navmeshable, adjustable for scrapping and repair
Full features such as fallout, militia/raider missions, recruitment, suppliers and more
Trash removal bin, scrap box, with the option to immediately scrap most trash located on the workbench
Linked workshop items, shops, beds, generators, razor rain, and water purifiers so that they all work as expected.
The weird terrain bugs Bethesda left behind have been fixed a lot.
Also, I recommend not using the "scrapall" console command. If you do this, nothing will break, but some repaired parts can be scrapped after repair, and "scrap" will be preemptively scrapped.
If you find any bugs please let me know and I'll try to fix them, again for major incompatibilities I'll patch them. And feel free to upload your build images!
Can be found in
Installation added mid-game. Store away from settlements until installation.
Clear all synthesizers, both internal and external, to unlock the settlement.
Can also be unlocked by completing "Nuclear Family" and becoming a director.
The Vault-88 DLC is required as an exit from the vault is nearby. If there's enough demand I can make a vanilla version.
compatibility
SS2 compatible.
Alternative version for use with PRP 69. Use instead of the default file.
Used by default with rebuilding Jamacia Plain, just make sure the university point is below the rebuild JP. Alternative versions were made for "Rebuild Jamacia Plain - Previsibines" and "Rebuild Jamacia Plain - PRP 0.69.x".
Same as rebuilding the AIO above.
A patch for "Stories from the Commonwealth" that pushes the mod's retirement home door to a different nearby location that doesn't conflict with the sports office. ESL tagged. Can go anywhere in load order.
The original version, rebuild all-in-one, Jamaica Plain compatible version and three PRP69 compatible versions have been packaged. You can choose to install them according to your actual usage.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
