describe
Bethesda's Fallout 4 engine supports unlimited shadow-casting lights. Unfortunately, the total amount of shadow cast in most of the game's interiors is only about 10 to 40 percent, making many areas look rather dull and unrealistic.
I used this mod to increase this percentage to between 80% and 100% for most indoor scenes in the game, including the DLC, bringing an extremely realistic light and shadow experience!
Hundreds if not hundreds of hours of hand work, carefully laying out thousands of new shadow-casting lights, and adjusting most of the other lights to match the new style!
Many lighting bugs have also been fixed, and more complex levels have been optimized with a triggered lighting system and adjustments to fog settings and the overall atmosphere in most places!
I hope you all enjoy the new lighting experience this mod brings to your Fallout 4 interiors!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
