About this mod Machine translation

Now user friendly in .BA2 format! No longer installation times!

Some people don't have very good GPUs. This is true.

However, those people still want to be able to run Fallout 4.

I want to help those people.

That's why I took ~40,000 textures and converted them to an incredibly low 64x64 pixel size.

You might be wondering 'why 64 pixels when you can turn it into 16, or 8 or 4? '

The answer to this question is ugly. 64 pixels is the perfect size to give a huge performance boost while keeping everything looking bland. I tried to ensure that each texture remained colorful and vibrant, while making it simple and most importantly easy for those with low-end GPUs.

How to install

  • Run the installer in Mod Manager/Mod Organizer

That's it! enjoy your meal.

If you encounter any problems using this MOD

  • Disable other texture mods, I cannot be held responsible if other people's mods conflict with this version
  • Verify your file integrity in Steam

If all else fails, please leave me a message. If the problem is a single texture, try to be as specific as possible. I can't search over 40,000 files for one question.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
