Tutorial on replacing radio music, including conversion software

Take, for example, the replacement of Diamond City Radio.

first step:

Fallout4.ini Open with notepad and add sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, textures\, meshes\, scripts\, sound\, music\, misc\, shadersfx\, interface\, programs\, materials\

Download music package: Password: mcbb

Unzip the sound folder in the compressed package downloaded from Baidu Disk to the Fallout 4\Data directory, that is, all the radio music of Diamond City has been replaced. This is all my own music. You can listen to it after entering the game.

Step two:

Here’s how to define radio music yourself

Open the software MultiXwm.exe (downloaded from n.com, the original author is unknown) to convert music to each other. All the files generated after conversion are in the directory MultiXwm_v2_3-3159-2-3\MultiXwm\output

Sound contains the xwm folder of the original radio station of the game. In this path, Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx\mus\radio\diamondcity\xwm file of the original Diamond City

This is the backup I extracted for you to keep. There are 38 songs in total. If you want to listen, you can use software to convert it to wav format.

Finally how to replace:

First, convert all 38 of your own music files that you like to listen to into wav format, and then find a format factory to convert them at will.

For example, you have a song called Onion Song.wav

Please change the song name to mus_radio_diamond_bettyhutton_hesademon.wav This is the xwm file name of the original Diamond City

In this way, you can change all the names to the original file names. There are 38 names in total. Just follow the changes in the folder~~~~~

When all your music is changed to the music name of Diamond City, use the software to convert it as shown in the picture. The converted xwm file

Put it in this directory

Fallout 4\Data\sound\fx\mus\radio\diamondcity

Once you enter, it will be your own music station.
